brief intro to astrology

What is astrology?

Astrology is an ancient and symbolic system that presents a connection

between the alignment of the planets and stars and human experience on

planet Earth (“as above, so below”). Astrology can be interpreted as

psychological, energetic, and/or predictive and pertains to both the individual and the collective. It can also be thought of as a language between earth and sky.

The Planets (with one key symbol and corresponding felt-action):

Sun: My Self - pointing to self

Moon: My family - open hugging action with arms

Mercury: Communication - “lalala” sing a little melody

Venus: Love - place hands over heart and say aaahhh

Mars: Courage - make fists and curl biceps

Jupiter: Expansion - stretch arms and legs out like a star

Saturn: Contraction - curl up like a ball

Uranus: Breakthrough - jump up high with arms in the air

Neptune: Spirituality - make prayer hands and bow head to heart

Pluto: Transformation - spin hands/forearms (like the signal for traveling in basketball) to demonstrate regenerative force
